I am honored to serve as the Director of Student Achievement for the Crawford County School District. Previously, I worked in the Bibb County School District for seventeen years where I began my teaching career as a middle school math teacher and later served as an elementary instructional coach, middle school assistant principal, and principal at all levels. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from GA College & State University in 1998 but later knew that I had to fulfill my calling to teach so I returned to school to become a teacher three years later. I received my Master’s and Specialist’s degrees from GA College & State University in Educational Leadership, and my Doctorate in Educational Administration from GA Southern University in 2009.

It is my uncompromising belief that all students can be successful, and we must find innovative ways to assist them in their journey to success. I am very passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, and I know that, together, we can help our students reach any goal that they set for themselves! This will be a year of celebration, preparation, and action! It is important for us to celebrate our small wins while preparing for bigger gains, and this will certainly require us to act immediately and intentionally.

Again, I look forward to partnering with you this year as we work together to achieve the vision of the district and “unite with the community to be EXCELLENT ” in all we do!
