My Bio
My name is Daisy Prather, and I joined Crawford County Schools in 2017 as the Parent Mentor and Intervention Instructor for at-risk students. As of August 2019, I Became the Parent and Family Engagement Coordinator for Title 1 for Crawford County Schools as well as continuing as the Parent Mentor. I enjoy interacting with people and helping out where there is a need. My educational background is business with a B.S. in Accounting and an MBA.
I grew up in Crawford County and graduated from Crawford County High School in 1988. I married my husband, Demetrius Prather, and we have three daughters Kierrah, Kandace, and Kendrial who attended Crawford County Schools. We also have a granddaughter, Kamari, and a grandson, Kason, who live here and attend school.
During my lifetime I have been afforded to travel seeing many places however spending time with my family and reading is what I enjoy doing the most.
Hearing the saying growing up in Roberta, I am still in a strong belief that "it still takes a village". Parents need help and guidance at times; and I am happy to assist parents and families here in Crawford County Schools and be a part of that village. I am truly blessed to a part of Crawford County Schools.
