Parent Mentor

A mentor is not someone who walks ahead of you. A mentor walks beside you, guiding you on your journey.

With the Crawford County Schools Parent Mentor, families and teachers work together to improve student outcomes by improving communication and collaboration between families, educators, and the community. The Crawford County Schools Parent Mentor works with families and teachers to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. Parent Mentors are a part of the Georgia Parent Mentor Partnership.

The mission of the Georgia Parent Mentor Partnership is to build effective family, school, and community partnerships that lead to greater achievement for students, especially those with disabilities.

The vision of the Georgia Parent Mentor Partnership is Parent mentors and special education administrators will lead the way in Georgia to bridge the gap between home, school, and community partnerships.

Georgia Parent Mentor Partnership

Parent to Parent of Georgia has officially launched their Community Needs Assessment Survey. This is part of their ongoing effort to listen carefully, learn from their partners, and ensure that their programs and services continue to meet the changing needs of families and communities throughout Georgia.

As a valued partner, your perspective is important to P2P. Your feedback will help guide their next phase of strategic planning and shape the impact we make together.

FROM P2P: Thank you for your continued partnership and belief in our mission. Together, we're paving the way for stronger support, greater access and more inclusive opportunities for every family we serve.
