Title IA
Title I, Part A is a part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Under this act, federal funds are provided to school districts that have a high percentage of students in poverty to help meet their needs and ensure that they have the resources necessary for them to reach the level of proficiency on the state standards.
