Our CCHS Ag Mechanics students have been busy giving the Board of Education lawn a fresh look, and we’re pretty proud of the work they’re putting in!

With Teacher and Young Farmer Advisor, Mr. Baxley guiding the project, students have cleaned up the area, worked together to create a landscape plan, and selected the plants they want to use. Now they’re waiting for the plants to arrive so they can get them in the ground and see their plan come to life!

The best part is that this isn’t just about making the lawn look better. Our students are getting real, hands-on experience with planning, plant selection, landscaping, teamwork, and problem-solving along the way.

We can’t wait to see the finished project—and we love seeing our students leave their mark on our school system!
