Program for Exceptional Children
Welcome to the Program for Exceptional Children webpage! Exceptional students require specially designed instruction to meet their unique needs. The curriculum, adapted to their ability, allows exceptional students to meet the educational requirements that apply to all students.
Our staff understands the needs of these students and provides support to help them meet the demands of our changing society. The majority of our students participate in general education with support from the staff through the co-teaching model and consultation services.

Georgia Department of Education Parent Survey
It is time for the annual Special Education Parent Survey and we are asking all parents of students with disabilities in the Crawford County School System to complete it. The Parent Satisfaction Survey helps the Georgia Department of Education (GA DOE) understand parents’ perceptions of their engagement between the local school and themselves. The 2024 Parent Survey, available in English and Spanish, is open now to all families of students with disabilities in the state.
Please make your voice heard and complete the survey today.
If you have questions regarding the survey or need assistance, please contact the Office of Special Education at 478-836-3426 or the Parent Mentor at 478-836-5706
